Millage

Covert Township’s Senior Milage program provides qualifying seniors with access to funds for assistance with chores and home repairs. This initiative ensures that seniors can maintain their independence and safety in their homes, fostering a supportive community where aging residents can receive the help, they need without financial strain.

Steps to Access Senior Milage Funds
1. Complete Qualifying Application and be approved by Township
2. Each service (Chore, Seasonal Chore & Home Repair) needs to have a Quote Form completed by the contractor/handyman PRIOR to work being done.
3. An Invoice Form needs to be completed once all the work has been done. This is completed by the contractor/handyman and homeowner.
