Additionally, they provide assistance to families and visitors in locating gravesites. They also oversee the process of digging and filling graves for burials, ensuring that each step is carried out with care and attention to detail.

Burial spaces may be purchased at the Covert Township Hall, 73943 Lake St, Covert, MI 49043. Checks must be made payable to Covert Township. Credit cards are not accepted.
RESIDENT*: Any person who primarily resides in the Township of Covert and has lived in that residence for more than 30 days. Homeowners must have a Permanent Residence Exemption (PRE) on their property taxes in the current year to be considered a resident.
Customers who do not own their homes may provide one of the following as proof of residency with their
Covert address: current government-issued ID, current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, other
government document.
